INTRODUCTION

Congrats again on your upcoming wedding!

We take pride in providing that extra personal touch to make your wedding especially memorable for both you and your guests, which is why we’ve got a wide variety of ink and paper choices to suit your preferences. Here’s sharing a little more about our favourite materials and the design journey we’d be on.

OUR DESIGN JOURNEY

one : inspiration

Begin by completing our Bespoke Suite Brief or Semi-custom Suite Brief, where you share your idea and how you envision your wedding theme unfolding and manifesting itself in the form of unique wedding invites and other pieces of stationery from our Finishing Touches.

Initiation

Once we’re both in a good space, we’ll present you with an estimated timeline and budget overview in a shared folder with Google Drive as our project management tool. When you're happy to proceed, a 50% deposit of your total estimate will be required at this point.

Personalised moodboard (Bespoke Suites only)

If you've opted for our Bespoke suite, we take things up a notch and create a personalised moodboard especially for you, establishing the overall aesthetics, colour palette, and design style. We’ll work together on the wording for your invite too.

two: design

Where the magic happens! We begin the actual design of your invite, this is where you sit back, relax, and trust the process.

bespoke suites:

Refinement round 1

When ready, we’ll present you with drafts of our design concept on Google Slides. This is where you can share your thoughts and comments as we continue to refine it further.

First test print

Once you’re comfortable with the final design, we’ll do a test print and mail it to you so you can get a better feel for the real thing.

Refinement round 2 (Bespoke Suites only)

Based on your test print, we'll make any necessary tweaks to the colours, words and size. Please note that after this round, additional rounds are from $100 each and may add 1 - 2 weeks to your timeline depending on the details of revision.

Second test print (Bespoke Suites only)

We’ll do a final test print and deliver it to you again if you like.

semi-custom suites:

Refinement

Based on your selected suite template, colour and wording preferences, we’ll present you with your design on Google Slides. Thereafter, we'll make any necessary tweaks to the colours, words and sizing. Please note that there's no creation of new design elements for our semi-custom suites.

Test print

Once you’re comfortable with the final design, we’ll do a test print and mail it to you so you can get a better feel for the real thing.

three: print

Once it's all good to go, you can go ahead and sign the production approval agreement. Your remaining payment will be required at this point before we proceed to print all your invites!

Woohoo! Your freshly printed cards are ready. Here’s when you can request for any additional Finishing Touches, such as our signature calligraphy addressing on individual cards and/or envelopes to complete the look.

PRINTING METHODS

digital

Enjoy brilliant prints at the most affordable cost. Recommended for use on white, ivory, or other light-coloured papers, as prints will not show up on dark-coloured ones. Though this method doesn't print white or metallic colours, digital printing is ideal for watercolour designs that encompass every other colour under the sun.

letterpress

Indulge in that deep, luxurious indentation as you run your fingers across the surface. Recommended for use on white, ivory, or other light-coloured paper too. This method uses ink, and the colours are printed one at a time, so the more colours, the more costly. Letterpress is Ideal for leaving a bold impression.

foil

Pamper yourself and dazzle your guests with that extravagant metallic glamour impressed upon your invite. This method is perfect for both light and dark-coloured papers. Metallic colours are printed one at a time, so the more colours, the more costly. Foil printing is ideal for that extra touch of luxe.

PAPER PARTY

Our favourite type of paper is subtly textured and has an organic feel to it. Beyond these top picks, we also have access to a whole other variety to best suit your theme.

naturale paper:

Fine-textured, matte, 200 gsm

White | Ivory

Ideal for digital, foil printing

aquarelle paper:

Watercolour-textured, matte, 200 gsm

White | Ivory

Ideal for digital printing

cotton paper:

Organic-textured, matte, 300 gsm

Linen cream | Maple white

Ideal for letterpress, foil printing

ENVELOPES

Ivory and kraft are our go-to options, but we highly recommend custom envelopes for the most suitable type of paper, colour and fold design. Complete your wedding stationery in style, as long as it's in paper form, the possibilities for your custom envelopes are pretty much endless!

CALLIGRAPHY INK

We’re proud to house a full range of colours for calligraphy addressing to match your invites and envelopes. From pastels to bold, metallic to matte, we're happy to offer custom handmixed inks to satisfy the colour buff in you.
